All our Pilates sessions are really small with a max. Of 5/6 people in person & 8 online allowing us to tailor sessions to meet individual needs and cater to all levels. Classes are relaxed, friendly and supportive with music, chatting & laughter. Mental health is equally as important to us as physical health and classes really reflect this. Pilates provides a great way to increase core strength and flexibility, increase body awareness and movement efficiency and improve posture and alignment which will help reduce aches and pains. Taster classes are available to see if we fit your needs.

Sevenoaks

All of our Older Adult's classes have the focus on functional fitness. The 60+ fitness class has a mix of cardio, bodyweight & resistance exercises. The Pilates focuses more on the core, pelvic floor and breathing using bodyweight and small equipment like balls and hand weights. Both classes work on improving mobility, balance and flexibility and there are variations of all exercises so classes can be performed, standing, seated or lying down. This class is very friendly and supportive with music, chatting and often lots of laughter. Taster classes are available and this class is pay as you go (PAYG).

 

Pole Fitness

Pole fitness will work every muscle in your body & teaches you to have a new found respect and better relationship with your body. There is often a misconception that you can only do pole if you are super fit and strong but anyone can do pole regardless of shape, size, age or gender. You will gradually build up strength, flexibility and confidence as you learn really fun new skills and tricks in a really friendly and supportive community.

Baby friendly Pilates classes last for 45 minutes they are small with a max of 6-10 people. There are variations of all exercises so that people can work at a pace & level suitable for their postnatal journey. You must have been signed off by your doctor (around 6-12 weeks depending on type of delivery) before starting any postnatal fitness programme. The programme can be as gentle or tough as you need/want depending on where you are in your Postnatal journey.

The focus is on gently restoring the core and pelvic floor in a safe and effective way. You will be shown how to check for abdominal separation (diastasis recti) and the exercises and correct techniques to safely improve core and pelvic floor function.

The class is fun, friendly and supportive with music and time to chat to other mums. Many people also like to do this class in conjunction with B.Y.B Buggy Bootcamp and then grab a coffee or lunch together after.

B.Y.B Buggy Bootcamp is a great place to meet other Mums & the fresh air does wonders for the soul. It's a friendly, understanding, supportive & social environment. We use a functional whole body approach with elements of no/low/high impact cardio, core, pelvic floor restore and toning exercises with bodyweight and resistance bands. This class can be as gentle or tough as you need for your stage in your Postnatal journey.

There are variations of all exercises to ensure sessions are suitable for everyone. You will be shown how to check for abdominal separation (diastasis recti). Many people also like to do this class in conjunction with B.Y.B Pilates, both are 45 minutes long.

In summer many students stay for picnics and in winter often head for lunch or a coffee after class.
